The crying tiger: Reviews & Ratings
This was our first time visiting Crying Tiger and the Nam Khao was the standout dish for me. Excellent flavor and textures. The Curry was slightly different than what I am normally used to, but was still very good. The Sausage was perfect. The only complaint I had, which is minor, the Papaya Salad was good and had good heat, but the strips were a little wide compared the the thin strips I am used to. I will definitely be back.
My husband picked this placed randomly as we were looking somewhere new to eat & I'm happy we stopped by! The staff was friendly, food, came out quickly, mind you we were there while another table was there, & they had a big party next to us. They looked like a good time! The inside is so well decorated & to their homeland. We will most definitely be returning customers! We got the fried tofu, mou pang, masaman curry, & the crying dragon. All came out fresh & hot. The food was delicious & the presentation was lovely!
We went to eat here last night and it was a great experience all around. I ordered a dish from the Laotian part of the menu and it was amazing. Sorry I don’t remember what it was called but the flavors were new for me and that is what I wanted. Something different from all the food I usually get. They brought out this cute plate for my daughter who is 3 and she loved it. My friend ordered Pad Thai and I tried hers. I normally am not a huge fan of that dish but it was very good and I would even order it next time I come. The staff were super nice and they have a karaoke set up which they turned on and I even sang a couple of songs at the end of the night. We will definitely be back and they are new as of this review (2 months old) so definitely check them out and you won’t be disappointed.
Great flavors of a variety of Asian food, from Chinese, pho, Thai curry, fresh sushi, and Laos cuisine. We opted for spicy papaya salad, chicken wings, beef well done beef laab, pork belly laab, California roll sticky rice, Lao coffee, the old fashion way. Each had its unique flavoring. We’ll be back to try the other dishes.
Lovely decorations and fun plate design. I ordered three appetizers from their wide selection, and they were each unique and flavorful. The tempura shrimp especially had amazing flavor. Would gladly visit again!
We hosted a birthday for a friend and were able to bring in our own cake and decorations. It turned out even better than we expected! The food was fresh, and the staff was so sweet and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. We brought way to many guests, but the staff were so patient with us and informative. There’s even a lantern photo setup with perfect lounge-style lighting, and we couldn’t stop taking pics! The space has a cute stage, which we definitely made use of, and the vibe overall was absolutely adorable. Everyone had an amazing time, and we’ll definitely be back!
